Precisely How We Have Recovered Group of Alcoholics Anonymous (PHWHR) has but one primary purpose – to carry a message of depth and weight to the alcoholic who still suffers.

 

Being cognizant that not all who enter the rooms of Alcoholics Anonymous may find our meetings necessary, we do not propose to be the only answer or governing body of alcoholic people in the greater Sacramento area.

 

Being a closed meeting of Alcoholics Anonymous we adhere to God as we understand Him and the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous.  When any alcoholic anywhere, reaches out for help, we want the hand of Alcoholics Anonymous always to be there.  And for that: we are responsible.  We insure to do this by adhering to the fifth Tradition of Alcoholics Anonymous which states, “Each Alcoholics Anonymous group ought to be a spiritual entity having but one primary purpose-that of carrying its message to the alcoholic who still suffers.”

 

It is our hope to unify alcoholic people in the Northern California area by practicing the principles of A.A. through meetings, events, and outreach.
